- Absolute-rated high efficiency filter bags >99.98%
- We also offer high capacity and extended life filter bags
Our Fluxflo high efficiency filter bags are manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards, under food safe and silicone-free conditions to minimise contamination. In addition, our high-efficiency filter media are compliant with the European Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
We take a solutions-based approach to high efficiency filter bags selection, understanding your process filtration goals and giving expert advice on the bag filters, bag filter housings and consumables packages that best meet your needs.
High efficiency filter bags >95%
Fluxflo high efficiency filter bags >95% consist of up to four layers of melt-blown polypropylene or polyester filter media. The unique outer cover prevents fibre migration into the filtrate and supports the filtration media and, instead of standard needle felt fibres, high-density fibres are used to leading to a highly efficient filtration.
These filter bags can be used in pre-filtration, final-filtration and polishing stages for many applications, including:
- Final filtration of critical fluids
- Protection of reverse osmosis (RO) and nanofiltration (NF) membranes
- Pre-filtration to extend the life of membrane filter cartridges
- Activated carbon removal
- Edible oil filtration with polyester filters at high temperatures
These >95% absolute-rated filter bags are available from 1 micron to 25 microns in a variety of materials, including:
- Polypropylene high-density needle felt
- Polyester high-density needle felt
Our >95% high efficiency filter bags are manufactured using 100% virgin fibres for consistent, high-quality performance. For more demanding applications, see our range of high efficiency filter bags with >99% efficiency ratings.
Sealing materials
We offer a range of sealing rings for our filter bags including:
- Galvanised steel
- Stainless steel 316
- Moulded polypropylene
- Moulded polyester
- Bespoke mouldings for compatibility with specialised filter bags

High efficiency filter bags >99%
Fluxflo high efficiency filter bags >99% consist of up to five layers of melt-blown polypropylene media. The outer cover prevents fibre migration into the filtrate and supports the filtration media and instead of standard needle felt fibres, high-density fibres are used to provide highly efficient filtration. To protect the finer layers of the filter bag a coarse melt-blown layer provides high dirt-holding capacity.
These filter bags are perfect for critical filtration processes that require absolute filtration and can be used as an alternative to filter cartridges in pre-filtration, final-filtration and polishing stages, including:
- Final filtration of critical fluids
- Protection of reverse osmosis (RO) and nanofiltration (NF) membranes
- Pre-filtration to extend the life of membrane filter cartridges
- Activated carbon removal
- An effective alternative to filter cartridges
These >99% absolute-rated filter bags are available in a range of ratings, from 1 micron to 10 microns, and are manufactured using the best quality 100% virgin fibres for consistent performance.

Absolute-rated high efficiency filter bags >99.98%
Fluxflo absolute-rated filter bags perform to >99.98% efficiency, with a beta ratio of 5000. Up to eight layers of melt-blown polypropylene media provide the highest level of absolute filtration for critical processes, with high-density fibres used instead of standard needle felt fibres. The unique outer cover design prevents fibre migration into the filtrate and supports the filtration media. To protect the finer layers of the bag filters, a coarse melt-blown layer provides high dirt holding capacity.
These filter bags are perfect for critical filtration processes that require absolute filtration and can be an effective alternative to filter cartridges. The filter bags can be steam sterilised or hot-water sanitised and are compatible with many sanitising agents.
Our Fluxflo absolute-rated high efficiency filter bags can be used in pre-filtration, final-filtration and polishing stages, including:
- Final filtration of critical fluids
- Protection of reverse osmosis (RO) and nanofiltration (NF) membranes
- Pre-filtration to extend the life of membrane filter cartridges
- Activated carbon removal
- An alternative to filter cartridges
- Absolute sub-micron process filtration, with a beta ratio of 5000
Fluxflo >99.98% absolute-rated filter bags are constructed from high-quality, 100% virgin polypropylene high-density needle felt for consistence performance and are available in 0.2-micron to 5-micron ratings.
