Hollow fiber membrane range and applications
Our hollow fiber membrane solutions offer precise filtration, capable of separating particles from 0.6µm down to as small as 0.001µm. This versatility makes them suitable for a variety of applications across multiple industries:
PureSep NF: direct nanofiltration technology replaces multiple filtration steps (coagulation, clarification, UF, RO) with a single, energy-efficient process. Ideal for surface water treatment, waste and water recycling, and polishing surface waters to potable standards, it offers high fouling resistance without pre-treatment, rejecting dissolved solids up to 300ppm with a fraction of the energy required by comparable spiral-wound reverse osmosis processes.
PureSep UF: ultrafiltration membrane systems designed for the effective removal of suspended solids, turbidity, bacteria, and viruses with molecular weights above 10kDa or 150kDa. Operating in dead-end filtration mode with an inside-to-outside flow for optimal back-pulse performance, PureSep UF systems offer high permeability, making them ideal for RO pre-treatment, potable water production, municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, food and beverage applications, and water recycling.
PureSep MF: microfiltration systems designed for one-step clarification of alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, cider, vinegar, and fruit juice. Ideal for beer membrane filtration (BMF) applications, PureSep MF solutions improve product quality and consistency while reducing costs and waste. Each hydrophilic PES hollow fiber membrane features an extra-wide, 1.5 mm lumen, offering excellent solid retention capacity and superior filtration quality.
Off-site bench-top testing services
Our compact bench-top pilot systems are designed for comprehensive testing on a smaller scale, accommodating our innovative direct nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, and microfiltration hollow fiber membranes. Requiring only limited feedstock, our 0.05m² unit provides detailed assessments on permeability and back-pulse efficiency using just a 20-litre sample – ideal for initial technology trials.

On-site pilot plant rental systems
Our on-site pilot trial plants offer dNF, UF membrane, and MF hollow fiber membrane technology systems to precisely replicate full-scale process conditions. For trials of new technology or upgrades to existing processes, we conduct clarity, output, and batch volume tests on live process streams. Our expert engineers manage testing to validate stability, clean-in-place (CIP) efficacy, and overall process performance.
These mobile, skid-mounted units feature 14m² of membrane surface area, providing production capacities of 350-500 litres per hour. Each skid measures 2.2m in height, 0.8m in width, and 1.2m in depth, with forklift slots for easy offloading and setup.
