Envirogen has appointed Kylie Clarke to the newly created position of UK Healthcare Sales Manager, South. Responsible for developing the company’s healthcare water purification business in the region, Kylie brings with her more than 20 years’ experience in water treatment in the healthcare sector.
Kylie will strengthen customer focus as part of her remit, and work alongside Sam Blakemore, UK Healthcare Sales Manager, North, to help deliver national as well as regional business. Between them, Kylie and Sam will step into the shoes of recently retired Envirogen Healthcare Market Manager (UK) Allan Wigglesworth.
Regarding Allan’s retirement, Envirogen Group European CEO Bill Denyer said, “Allan made invaluable contributions over the past 14 years, including being instrumental in shaping our EndoTherm water purification range into a market leader it is today, and ensuring a smooth transition as he retired.”
With her deep knowledge of decontamination equipment and customer needs, Kylie is well placed to take over his reins in the south, and have a strong focus on growing EndoTherm sales. As a market leader, the EndoTherm range utilises reverse osmosis technology to generate purified water for decontamination of reusable medical devices in endoscopy departments and sterile services departments (SSDs) in NHS and private hospitals.
Kylie’s experience in decontamination equipment includes legionella testing, and cooling tower and closed system treatment in and around the London area with a water hygiene company and Envirogen.
Great to Meet a New Challenge
“With Envirogen expanding its healthcare business, it’s great to meet a new challenge as I focus on working directly with hospitals – as well as hospital construction, contractor and architect firms managing full site newbuilds or refurbishments. I will also be liaising with washer decontamination equipment manufacturers in the OEM market. Many rely on EndoTherm for purifying water to feed their washer systems, and I look forward to growing that part of the market, too.
Kylie says, “My experience in water treatment for more than 25 years – and reputation for building strong customer relationships in healthcare – will stand me in good stead as Envirogen positions itself for further success in what is a key sector for the company.”

A Warm Welcome
Bill Denyer, European CEO, Envirogen Group, comments, “We warmly welcome Kylie to her new position. Our valued healthcare customers can be more than assured of her thoughtful, knowledgeable and professional service, backed by Envirogen’s state-of-the-art water purification offerings and post-sales support. Kylie is already a familiar face with many of our customers in healthcare, which will help ensure a seamless introduction to her in her new role.”
Bill paid further tribute to Allan Wrigglesworth:
“Allan leaves a lasting impact not only through his outstanding sales achievements but also in the foundation he has built for our service and consumables business – and for setting a benchmark for excellence. We wish him all the best for his retirement”
